Best Orlando House for Family Vacations

The best Orlando house for family vacations is by far the Wonderful World House (or any of the similar houses hosted by Hope Rise Properties. From my research they have several similar properties). The house itself could be a vacation destination without any need to ever venture out. With so many amenities and so much space this house is perfect for any gathering.

This summer we were invited to a family reunion in Orlando and what’s not to love about Orlando?! You are just down the street from the most Magical Place on Earth, Disney World. Not to mention all the thrilling rides at Universal Studios.

When you have a large family gathering it can be difficult to find a place for everyone to be able to sit around and hang out and even more difficult to find a house that can accommodate sleeping arrangements for a large group. For this reunion we had 40 people. Of those 40 people 16 were kids 12 and under. We never imagined that we would be able to find a place for everyone to stay comfortably but also a place that had so much to offer.

The amenities in this home were insane, we could have stayed for another week just enjoying the house! That is what makes this the best Orlando house for family vacations.

Bowling Alley

This house has a literal bowling alley inside. With two lanes and several bowling balls you can create quite the competition. The lanes are legit, they aren’t your cheap little toy lanes. We are talking actual bowling alley lanes with computers to input names and automatically keep score. Don’t worry about the sound, while you can hear the bowling alley the house is actually very quiet and even the littlest ones were able to nap without any disturbance.

Movie Theater

Snuggled upstairs in the middle of the floor is a giant movie theater screen with several rows of movie theater seating. The older kids loved feeling like they were in an actual movie theater and it was a great way to end their busy days.

Arcade

The arcade was by far my son’s favorite place to be. So many options including a basketball game, video games, a pool table and even a virtual reality game. The older kids stayed in the arcade for hours on end. Once again the sound was not bad throughout the house, although the basketball game was for sure the loudest amenity.

Private Pool

The pool was a hit for the entire family and while there is a hot tub, we went during the hottest month and used it more as a baby pool. With a large patio table, lounge chairs and a tiki bar even those who don’t want to swim can still sit around and visit. Use the poolside TV for a poolside movie night. For more of a party,  jam out with the outdoor sound system and the multicolored rope lights.

We were having too much fun to remember to take a picture of the pool, so this is from the listing!

*For safety there is a safety fence around the pool.

Large Common Areas

The open kitchen area with a very large table provided ample space for us to eat together. The living room had several couches that surrounded a TV that took up the entire wall. There was plenty of space for us to eat together and even have a karaoke night!

Bedrooms

Every room in the house is uniquely decorated in a different country and almost every room has a bathroom. My husband and I slept in Egypt which was not only amazingly comfortable and cutely decorated but it also had plenty of space for a pack-n-play. Several other rooms also had space for up to two pack-n-plays. The older kids split between two rooms. Each kids room had a set of regular bunk beds and cool cube bunk beds.

The Host

While the amenities and the house were amazing, the host was the cherry on top. We had a few little snags, like the Virtual Reality game not working and the downstairs TV freezing. We contacted the host and they were out there in a timely manner and immediately fixed the issues. They responded quickly to all requests and even asked ahead of time if we would need anything for the babies. Our group had 5 toddlers and babies and upon learning this the host provided 5 pack-n-plays making traveling with infants so much easier without the hassle of bringing beds for them.

These reasons are what makes the Wonderful World house the the best Orlando house for family vacations. All in all the host and house were spectacular and they offer several similar houses, some of which sleep 56!! Rest assured our next family gathering in Orlando, we will be looking at renting one of these properties!
